Warranty

GoFix service offers up to 6 months warranty on all spare parts that we replaced/repaired on the mobile device from the date of invoice. Accidental or water damage or manual intervention of the phone/laptop after service will void the warranty.

What the warranty covers

  • Screen, battery and other parts that malfunction or do not work as intended.
  • Any display or board issues that arise without manual intervention and are related to the spare part quality (for example touch issues or noticeable malfunctions). If a part replaced by us causes such issues, you can claim a free repair/replacement for that specific issue with a continued warranty of up to 6 months.

Important notes

  • The warranty is valid only for the specific device repaired and for the original customer. It is not transferable.
  • The mobile phone must be switched on and functioning normally (except for the repaired part) to process the claim.
  • To claim the warranty, you must provide a video of the device showing the prevailing issue and send it to support@gofix.co.in.
  • Also share your phone number, order number or IMEI number (any one is sufficient) when claiming the warranty.

How to claim

Resolution time

Our team generally resolves warranty-related queries within 48 to 72 hours from the time we receive your request. You will receive an acknowledgement email and we will work to sort the issue as soon as possible.

Scope & limitations

Warranty is limited to the parts and/or service(s) that were paid for:

  • If only parts were purchased, warranty is limited to replacement of those parts.
  • If parts and repair service were purchased, warranty extends to cover labor cost of part replacement and any repairs specifically resulting from the initial repair.

Warranty exclusions (not covered)

The warranty does not apply under the following scenarios:

  • Accidental damage, purposeful drops, or any direct damage caused by accidents.
  • Water damage or liquid ingress.
  • Tampering with internal hardware or attempted self-repairs by the customer.
  • Subsequent mishandling that bends, twists, or cracks the frame.
  • Hard presses or other misuse that discolour or line the display.
  • Software issues unrelated to the repair or jail-broken devices.
  • New damages unrelated to the original repair.
  • Excessive prior damage where internal components may already be affected (these may make repair impossible or outside warranty scope).
  • Any loss of data resulting from the repair (customers are advised to back up all data prior to repair).

Pre-existing conditions

The warranty may not cover outcomes if certain pre-repair conditions exist, including known manufacturing or performance issues unrelated to the repair, damage to the device frame noted prior to repair, or prior water damage. If internal damage prevents a repair, our specialist will explain after diagnosis.

Refunds

Refund is not applicable to spare parts such as screens. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for full details.
